Course Requirements
With a broad range of roles, the requirements for induction and mandatory healthcare training becomes very crucial. In addition, there is further requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours which varies massively across healthcare. Many institutional bodies, including the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS), and the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) require members to undergo 250 hours of CPD every 5 years. Meanwhile the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) requires 35 CPD hours per year.
All of our Advantage Accredited Awards are mapped to national frameworks and standards, as well as guidance from bodies such as Skills for Care, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, and the Resuscitation Council (UK). They are also rigorously reviewed by our specialists, with content updates issued on a regular basis.
